Who We Are

RULA was founded by members of the Lebanese diaspora. Inspired by the vast diversity, tolerance, kindness, and generosity of its people, the RULA board members strive to help restore the communities and country that nurtured us. Our group formed in the aftermath of the Beirut port explosion in 2020. We focus on the immense humanitarian needs of the country. The board members are all volunteers with diverse backgrounds, and no political or religious agenda.

RULA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 86-1469799).

Our Goal: To Help Vulnerable Communities in Lebanon

Our goal is to address the wellbeing of Lebanese communities impacted by the recent strife by supporting local NGOs focused on sustaining lives, rebuilding homes and communities. RULA vets all the organizations it partners with through a competitive process and prioritizes initiatives that demonstrate the highest impact on struggling communities, focusing on food security, medical, agricultural, and educational programs.
